Dear Riverside Community Resident,

With the Autumn season comes the falling leaves. With that, we wanted to share general information regarding the City of Raleigh Loose Leaf Collection Service. The service map indicates the Riverside Community as being mostly in Zone 6 which means the City of Raleigh is advising residents to place their pile of leaves at the curb between December 25 and 31, 2023. There is a list of Do’s and Don’ts regarding this service to include to NOT block storm drains or sidewalks with piles of leaves.

They also advised that the clean up crew will not pickup leaves within 4 feet of parked vehicles or other obstructions so please be mindful of placement of piles of leaves and parking during the scheduled service.
